Today is the day. I'm going to have my wisdom teeth cut out as they have been infected multiple times and are decayed up into my gums to the point where there is really nothing left but little nubs that are almost completely covered over by my gums. I've needed this done for 8 years and just now finally got the medical coverage needed to get it done.
But anyway, Just wanted to let everyone know that I won't be on as often for the next day or 2 so if your trying to get ahold of me I might be slow to respond.

Wish me luck.

Jason

Hope they give you some good pain meds Jason. You'll need 'em! Hoping all goes well with the surgery!

Thanks for the thoughts guys and gals.:)

I'm just online right now because I'm still numb, but I'm sure that won't last much longer.

To be truthful, that was MUCH easier than I thought it was going to be. I was under the impression that there was no way he was getting those teeth out without cutting since there really wasn't much to grab onto, but sure enough he numbed me up and after about 20 minutes he came in and had my 2 upper wisdoms out in less than 5 minutes!:thumb:
Best damn dentist I've ever found and a great guy with great staff.

I had all 4 of mine taken out a few years ago and they knocked me out, then I woke up at my house. The medicine had me under the influance for a couple of hours plus the bottle of vikaden they gave me made it all better:)

You should take care with it for a while, rinse your mouth out with large amounts of alcohol to guard against infection.

Harvey.

I had mine taken out in January, and it took them over 45 mins... you got lucky that it didnt take that long. I woke up in my 3rd story apartment and barely remembered the stairs, lol...
