I figured I'd go ahead and start a thread for the details on how the "QC" is operating instead of continually hijacking this thread http://svxworldforums.com/forum4/530.html about it.

If your not aware of what the "QC" is, Then I'll try to sum it up very quickly here.

The"QC",as it is being called until after this weekend, Is an electronic unit that taps into the wiring of the vehicle and dramatically improves shifts and power delivery of the SVX by raising the line pressure of the transmission and preventing it from falling off during shifts amongst other things it also deals with that causes the slow and sloppy shifts in the SVX when on the pedal and wanting to GO!

(I will allow it's designer to inform you on any of the details he'd like you to know that I won't speak of due to inferior knowledge of the exact workings)

So far I have been testing the "QC" for nearly a week and I must say that I am quite taken with it.;) The shifts are very quick and under hard throttle the lag is GONE and shifts are firm and fast and keep the power on full blast. In fact, For the first time ever my front tire chirped under a full throttle 1-2 shift.:driving:

Also, I am averaging 24.5 MPG and that included some serious mountain driving, highway, and city which is actually a 1 MPG improvement over what I'm use to, But that could be attributed to some fuel tuning I've done this week.

I will start taking orders for the unit on Monday once dyno testing is done on Saturday and I have the results to show.

Prices will definitely be in the $125-$150 range shipped and well worth it in my opinion from the 500+ miles I've driven with it so far.:)

More testing to come, Stay tuned.

So you didn't notice a loss in MPG's? How much did you tune your fpr from stock because I wouldn't want something killing my gas at $4.00 +.

I added fuel pressure over stock. My mileage has been either the same or better since QC's install, So I wouldn't worry about it hurting MPG's.;)

Also could you use a toggle switch to manually turn it on/off?

There is no poinl to turning it on or off. Once you have tried it, you won't want to go back to the way is was.

I know but if I would buy this I would make a switch panel for normal, one with the power mode and one to switch the "QC" on. Sort of like a normal, sport, street setting. Also speaking of the power mode mod can this "QC" be used while the power mode mod is engaged without being harsh?

Well Seth, I would not recommend it as it could introduce problems, if the connection or switch is electrically noisy.

The module won't interfere with any other modes, Cruis Control, Power, Economy, Manual.

And it is never "HARSH":)

Dumb moment: What do you mean by electrically noise?

Well Seth, I would not recomond it as it could introduce problems, if the connections or the switch is 'electrically noisy'.

And no it won"t interfer with any other mode, Cruis control, power, Manual. But it can not be used with the Small Cars Shift Kit, the dropping resistor must be standard.

Having posting problems, If the switch is not a clean on/off, like a loose connection.
