97 SVX LSI - Does the P/S pressure hose connect directly to the rack or is there a tube or connector? It appears to be a tube to me but I can't figure out the correct part number so I can order one. THX everyone.

It connects to a metal tube with a fitting on the pass. Side right where the tranny/engine meet.
Back to the same problem, cannot figure out the OEM part number of the metal tube. Spent time with dealer parts dept. and found out the LSI has electronic power steering and it is difficult to figure out the correct Part number of the tube. Any and all help will be appreciated.

Subaru is so silly sometimes.
None of the lines are different between the 2 kinds of steering, the just had a design change between 92-94. 92's used a metal tube that connected to the pump and ran along the top of the pass. side valve cover back to the rack where a short rubber high pressure hose with screw fittings on each end connects the metal pipe from the pump to the metal pipe on the rack. In 94, they switched to basically a full rubber hose with fittings on each end from the pump back to the rack instead of having the metal line run along the valve cover.
As was said, if you post pics I can find you what you need.
