Why? Every other forum I've been to allows users to edit posts.
I don't really want to edit it. I want access to the post iteself, in text format. The pictures to photobucket are blocked here at work, and I cannot see their addresses, nor can I see the pictures. I thought I would be able to see the URL if I hit edit post, but I'm blocked from editing it. Maybe "Donating members" would gain the ability to edit their posts?

Unfortunately at the moment, the forum software will not allow us to change the time limit for different groups. It is something we are going to be checking into though.
And when going back and editing the post, it usually shows the picture in the edit box instead of the link to the image.

Temporary fix: Right-click on the picture and click properties. URL should appear. Last edited on Nov 16th, 2009 11:59 AM by Ace2cool

Right click on the box with the red "X" in it if and from the dropdown menu, select properties.
The "Address: (URL)" part of that screen will show the URL olcation of the picture.

Just mainly put here for newer members who don't understand about editing posts.
The reason there is a limit on editing is cause there are some members on here that like to go in and change what they say later and it could either be for the better but most of the time for the worse and they bad mouth someone else.
We thought it best to limit the time you have to do that so there is no bullshit hiding crap on the forum and when you say something you have about an hour to fix it. If at any time though something needs edited or added to one of your threads you are more than welcome to come to the admins or mods with what you are wanting to add and we have no problems doing it for you. You just have to send us a PM with what you want to add.
